2nd Phase of Army Recruitment Rally Concludes Successfully in Imphal
The second phase of the Agniveer Recruitment Rally for Manipur, organised by the Army Recruiting Office (ARO) Rangapahar, concluded successfully at the Old Airfield, Koirengei in Imphal East. The rally reaffirmed the Indian Army’s commitment to empowering youth from the state to serve the nation.




Over 1,500 candidates from Imphal East, Imphal West, Bishnupur, Tamenglong, Thoubal, Kakching, Noney, and Jiribam districts participated in the recruitment process. The rally, flagged off on October 29, 2025, saw seamless coordination between the Army and civil administration, with the presence of senior dignitaries including the Brigade Commander, Commanding Officer of the Infantry Battalion, Assistant Deputy Commissioner, Chief Medical Officer, District Education Officer, and Assistant Superintendent of Police, Imphal East.
Earlier, Phase I of the recruitment rally was held at Peace Ground, Churachandpur, from October 23 to 27, drawing over 900 candidates from Churachandpur, Tengnoupal, Chandel, and Pherzawl districts. Both phases were well-supported by local military and civil authorities, ensuring smooth and transparent conduct of the recruitment activities.
Reflecting the Indian Army’s continuous efforts to provide fair opportunities for youth in the state, the rallies showcased the strong enthusiasm among Manipuri youth to join the Armed Forces.
The third and final phase of the rally is scheduled to take place at Sanii Dahrii Sports Complex, Karong in Senapati district, from November 9 to 12, 2025, for the remaining districts of Manipur.
