Security forces in Manipur reportedly recovered a Starlink-like internet device along with sniper rifles, pistols, grenades, and other weapons during a search operation in Imphal East on December 13. Sources indicate that relevant agencies are now investigating how the device, bearing the Starlink logo, ended up in the conflict-hit state. <\/p>\n
The Dimapur-based Spear Corps shared photos of the recovered items on X, which included weapons and an internet device with the Starlink logo inscribed with “RPF\/PLA.” The search operation was conducted jointly by the Indian Army, Assam Rifles, and Manipur Police across Churachandpur, Chandel, Imphal East, and Kangpokpi districts. <\/p>\n
The recovered cache included 29 weapons, such as sniper and automatic rifles, pistols, country-made mortars, grenades, and other war-like materials. <\/p>\n
