Manipur Police on Tuesday arrested six members of the Arambai Tengol in connection with the physical assault on a police officer and personnel during a bandh in Bishnupur district on June 9, 2025. The arrests were made following an intensive investigation into the incident that disrupted law and order in the district.<\/p>\n

According to police sources, the arrested individuals were involved in the violent attack on security personnel on duty. The accused have been identified as:<\/p>\n

1. Laishram Sanahal Singh @ Sana (26), resident of Govindagram Awang Leikai, Imphal West<\/p>\n

2. Laishram Rishikanta Singh (20), resident of Govindagram Awang Leikai, Imphal West<\/p>\n

3. Laishram Premchand @ Kandrang (18), resident of Govindagram Awang Leikai, Imphal West<\/p>\n

4. Kangabam Nongdamba Singh (23), resident of Terakhongsangbi Ward No. 2, Bishnupur<\/p>\n

5. Sarangthem Rabichandra @ Rabi (28), resident of Kangmong Maisnam Leikai, Imphal West<\/p>\n

6. Yumnam Jaswant Singh (22), resident of Lourembam Maning Leikai, Bishnupur<\/p>\n
