In a remarkable display of community service and civic responsibility, the Assam Rifles has undertaken a series of impactful humanitarian and educational initiatives across multiple districts of Manipur, reaffirming its motto of \u201cSeva, Suraksha, Shanti\u201d \u2014 Service, Security, and Peace.<\/p>\n

In Chandel District, a Quick Reaction Team (QRT) of the force sprang into action on October 15 after a road accident near Khengjang village, where a local villager suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle mishap. The team provided critical first aid and ensured swift evacuation of the victim to a nearby healthcare facility. Locals lauded the timely intervention, which once again highlighted Assam Rifles\u2019 lifesaving readiness and compassion.<\/p>\n

On October 14, the force extended medical support during the Annual Sports Day at St. George School, Moreh (Tengnoupal District), ensuring round-the-clock emergency care for more than 250 students, teachers, and staff. In line with CPR Week, Assam Rifles also organized a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) awareness session in Tengnoupal, training 110 participants\u2014including 30 students\u2014in essential lifesaving techniques.<\/p>\n

\u00a0World Students Day in Chandel<\/strong><\/p>\n

Marking World Students Day on October 15, the force organized educational and recreational events across five villages\u2014Old Samtal, New Samtal, Kachinbung, Tuitong, and Sehlon in Chandel District. Activities included career guidance sessions, drawing and painting competitions, a volleyball tournament, and the setup of a mobile library, which drew enthusiastic participation from students and villagers alike.<\/p>\n

Touching Lives, Building Futures<\/strong><\/p>\n

Under the Pulse Polio Programme and Operation Sadbhavna, Assam Rifles continued its humanitarian outreach by conducting a Polio Vaccination Drive at the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) Camp in Buallian Village, Churachandpur District, immunizing 107 children against polio. Parents were also sensitized about vaccination and child health.<\/p>\n

The gesture was celebrated with performances and heartfelt gratitude from community members.<\/p>\n

These initiatives collectively underscore Assam Rifles\u2019 unwavering commitment to healthcare, education, and community resilience across Manipur.
