The Ato Kilonser (Prime Minister) of the National Socialist Council of Nagalim (Isak-Muivah), Thuingaleng Muivah, delivered his first public address in Ukhrul in fifty years, expressing heartfelt thanks to the Tangkhul community for their constant prayers and to God for allowing him to reunite with his people.<\/p>\n
Recalling the shared history of the Nagas and Tangkhuls, he affirmed, \u201cWe are not a lost people.\u201d<\/p>\n
As the chief political negotiator with the Government of India, Th. Muivah reaffirmed that the Framework Agreement signed on 3 August 2015 should continue to serve as the foundation for achieving a peaceful and lasting resolution to the Indo-Naga issue, while seeking the continued prayers of his people.<\/p>\n
Speaking to the religious leaders of the Tangkhul Naga tribe in Ukhrul and Kamjong districts, he called for unity among all church denominations and associations, emphasizing that such togetherness represents \u201cthe will of God.\u201d<\/p>\n
He concluded his address by urging everyone to embrace love and forgiveness in the collective journey of nation-building, ending with the traditional greeting, \u201cKuknalim.\u201d<\/p>\n
His message was read out by his spouse, Pakahao Muivah, in the Tangkhul language, as the Ato Kilonser was \u201cfatigued from travel.\u201d<\/p>\n
