The Thadou Students\u2019 Association (TSA-GHQ\/AITSA) celebrated its 68th Foundation Day on Wednesday under the theme \u201c68 Years of Resilience: Thadou Spirit Beyond Boundaries<\/strong>.\u201d The event commemorated the Association\u2019s founding in 1957 at Motbung, Manipur, and reaffirmed its commitment to the ideals of education, unity, and service.<\/p>\n

In a press release issued by Vicky Thadou, Spokesperson, AITSA\/TSA-GHQ, the Association stated that the day began with a simultaneous Flag Unfurling Ceremony held across all TSA branches, blocks, and units, symbolizing unity and shared purpose. The Central Flag Ceremony was led by the President of TSA-GHQ\/AITSA at the General Headquarters in Imphal, attended by members and well-wishers from both India and abroad. The programme included a moment of silence in honor of former TSA leaders, Thadou martyrs, and victims of violence, followed by the reaffirmation of the TSA Motto and Pledge of Unity by the Vice-President (Admin).<\/p>\n

In the evening, a Virtual Celebratory Webinar was held via Zoom, featuring reflections from senior leaders, cultural presentations, and greetings from TSA branches and units across the country and overseas. Addressing the gathering, the President highlighted the enduring Thadou spirit amid the challenges following the 2023 Manipur violence, urging all to continue working for peace, identity, and unity. The event concluded with a closing prayer by Mr. Joseph, Vice-President, TSA Bengaluru, invoking blessings for peace and progress.<\/p>\n

In his presidential address, the President reaffirmed TSA\u2019s unwavering commitment to the Thadou cause, emphasizing that the Thadou spirit remains unbroken and boundless despite adversity. He called for continued resilience, peace, and community understanding.<\/p>\n
