The Foundation Days of fifteen States and Union Territories \u2013 Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Andhra Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Madhya Pradesh, Puducherry, Punjab, and Tamil Nadu<\/em><\/strong> \u2013were commemorated today at Raj Bhavan, Imphal. The event was graced by the Governor of Manipur, Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla.<\/p>\n

The ceremony featured video messages from the Lt. Governor of Ladakh, the Governor of Punjab, and the Governor of Kerala. As part of the celebration, artistes from the Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy presented a vibrant choreographic performance on the theme \u2018Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat<\/strong>\u2019, symbolising India\u2019s unity in diversity through dance and artistic expression.<\/p>\n

Addressing the gathering, the Governor highlighted that India\u2019s greatest strength lies in its unity amid diversity, where every State, culture, and citizen contributes to the country\u2019s collective growth. He said that observing the Statehood Days of multiple States and UTs together reaffirms the vision of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and echoes the spirit of \u2018Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat\u2019<\/strong> envisioned by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.<\/p>\n

Commending the artistes of JNMDA for their graceful performance, the Governor said their presentation beautifully depicted the harmony and inclusiveness that define India\u2019s cultural fabric.<\/p>\n
