{"id":5638,"date":"2025-11-18T22:14:25","date_gmt":"2025-11-18T16:44:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ichelnewsnetwork.com\/?p=5638"},"modified":"2026-01-19T05:18:33","modified_gmt":"2026-01-19T05:18:33","slug":"two-day-disha-meeting-concludes-in-bishnupur","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ichelnewsnetwork.com\/index.php\/2025\/11\/18\/two-day-disha-meeting-concludes-in-bishnupur\/","title":{"rendered":"Two-Day DISHA Meeting Concludes in Bishnupur"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a press note issued by the <strong>District Information Office<\/strong>, Bishnupur, the <strong>two-day District Level DISHA Committee meeting<\/strong> for Bishnupur District concluded today at the Conference Hall of the Mini Secretariat, Bishnupur.<\/p>\n<p>The concluding session was chaired by <strong>Dr. Angomcha Bimol Akoijam<\/strong>, Member of Parliament, Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency, who also serves as Chairperson of the DISHA Committee.<\/p>\n<p>According to the release, the committee reviewed various flagship schemes and programmes such as those under the <strong>Ministry of Women and Child Development<\/strong>, <strong>Department of Land &amp; Resources<\/strong>, <strong>National Food Security Act<\/strong>, <strong>Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana<\/strong>, <strong>Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana<\/strong>, <strong>Prime Minister\u2019s Employment Generation Programme<\/strong>, and <strong>MPLADS,<\/strong> among others. District Level Officers gave detailed PowerPoint presentations on the status of implementation.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Akoijam highlighted that DISHA serves as a crucial platform for monitoring developmental activities to ensure effective implementation of Central Government schemes at the grassroots. He noted that the committee should act as the driving force for inclusive and time-bound district development, urging officials and stakeholders to work collectively for meaningful progress.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was organised by the District Rural Development Agency, Bishnupur, and attended by Deputy Commissioner Pooja Elangbam, ADM T.
