{"id":5832,"date":"2025-11-21T10:59:56","date_gmt":"2025-11-21T05:29:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ichelnewsnetwork.com\/?p=5832"},"modified":"2026-01-19T05:18:33","modified_gmt":"2026-01-19T05:18:33","slug":"security-forces-recover-arms-and-ammunition-from-urangpat-hill-ranges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ichelnewsnetwork.com\/index.php\/2025\/11\/21\/security-forces-recover-arms-and-ammunition-from-urangpat-hill-ranges\/","title":{"rendered":"Security Forces Recover Arms and Ammunition from Urangpat Hill Ranges"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a press note issued by the security forces, a cache of arms and ammunition was recovered today from the hill ranges of <strong>Urangpat<\/strong> under <strong>Yaingangpokpi Police Station<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-5833\" src=\"https:\/\/ichelnewsnetwork.com\/Ichel\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/FB_IMG_1763702677841-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>During the operation, security personnel recovered the following items:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>01 pistol with an empty magazine,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>01 tear gas gun,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>01 country-made bolt action rifle,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>01 country-made .22 rifle,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>03 tear smoke shells,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>11 live rounds of various calibres,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>12 empty cases of 7.62 mm, and<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>13 empty cases of 9 mm.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Security forces stated that the recovery forms part of ongoing efforts to prevent the circulation of illegal arms in the region.
