Man Arrested for Wife’s Murder in Imphal East

One Md Mujibur Rahman (45) of Keikhu Maning Leikai, Imphal East district, has been arrested today in connection with the murder of his wife, Sima Sahani (44).

According to police sources, the incident occurred at midnight on June 21, when the victim was allegedly killed by slitting her throat inside their residence. Following preliminary investigation, police apprehended Mujibur Rahman, who is now in custody.

Further investigation into the case is underway.
