41 Acres of Poppy Cultivation Destroyed in Kangpokpi

Security Forces, in coordination with the Forest Department and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), destroyed approximately 41 acres of poppy cultivation at the hill ranges of Kotlen village under Kangpokpi Police Station, Kangpokpi district.

During the operation, authorities also destroyed 23 huts, nine bags of fertilizers, 11 herbicide packets, four bags of salt and various cultivation equipment found at the plantation sites.
