BJP’s MLAs Internal Consensus Grows for Popular Government Amid Ongoing Leadership Crisis
In a significant move to address the deepening political crisis in Manipur, 23 BJP legislators convened a closed-door meeting today at the residence of senior BJP MLA Thongam Bishwajit Singh in Imphal. Following the deliberations, the MLAs issued a joint statement outlining their commitment to peace, inclusive dialogue, and the restoration of law and order in the state.
The joint statement highlighted a unified stance among BJP lawmakers to seek a long-term, sustainable solution to the two-year-long unrest. They emphasized the importance of setting aside personal ambitions to prioritize the interests of the people, the integrity of the state, and the vision of the party.
