Drug Peddler Arrested at Moirang Checkpoint; 74 Grams of Heroin Seized

Security Forces on Sunday arrested a drug peddler identified as Sheikh Basir Ahamad of Lilong Nungei, Thoubal district, at the Moirang Police Station gate checkpoint in Bishnupur district.

Three soap cases containing heroin powder weighing around 74 grams were recovered from his possession. The arrested individual and the seized contraband have been handed over to Moirang Police Station for further investigation.
