Governor Chairs Annual MSKA Executive Board Meeting at Raj Bhavan

Imphal, March 26, 2025:

The annual meeting of the Executive Board of the Manipur State Kala Akademi (MSKA) was convened today at the Conference Hall of Raj Bhavan, Imphal. The session was presided over by the Hon’ble Governor of Manipur, Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla, who also serves as the Chairman of the Akademi.

Key discussions during the meeting revolved around strengthening the administration of MSKA and expanding its reach in promoting art, culture, and literature across the state. The board thoroughly reviewed various policy proposals, financial plans, and upcoming programs aimed at nurturing Manipur’s rich cultural heritage.

Among the notable attendees were Secretary to Governor, Shri Sumant Singh; Commissioner (Finance), Shri N. Ashok Kumar; and Special Commissioner-cum-Secretary (Art & Culture), Shri M. Joy Singh, along with other members of the Executive Board.

The meeting underlined the state’s commitment to cultural advancement and laid out actionable strategies to support artists and cultural practitioners in the region.
