Indian Army Conducts Tri-Service Integrated Multi-Domain Exercise ‘Prachand Prahaar’ in Eastern Theatre
Kohima, March 27, 2025 — In a powerful demonstration of joint warfare capability, the Indian Army conducted a high-intensity Tri-Service Integrated Multi-Domain Exercise titled Ex Prachand Prahaar from March 25 to 27 in Arunachal Pradesh’s high-altitude terrain.
The exercise, carried out under the aegis of the Eastern Command, brought together elements of the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and other defence forces to validate future combat strategies across land, air, space, and cyber domains. The drill showcased seamless coordination and the use of advanced technologies like UAVs, loitering munitions, space-based assets, armed helicopters, and long-range reconnaissance platforms.
Simulated targets were swiftly neutralised using fighter aircraft, long-range rockets, artillery, swarm and kamikaze drones, and precision air strikes — all within an electronically contested environment replicating modern battlefield scenarios.
Top military officials, including Lieutenant General Ram Chander Tiwari, GOC-in-C Eastern Command, and Air Marshal Surat Singh, AOC-in-C Eastern Air Command, reviewed the operations and lauded the professionalism and readiness of the troops.
The exercise builds upon the success of Exercise Poorvi Prahar (November 2024), marking a significant leap in tri-service integration and technological warfare. It underlines India’s growing emphasis on jointness, rapid response capability, and combat preparedness to deter any threat along its strategic frontiers.
