Indian Army Extends Educational Support to L & H Bethel School in Kangpokpi
As part of Operation Sadbhavana, the Red Shield Division of the Indian Army provided major educational support to L & H Bethel School, Leimakhong, in Manipur’s Kangpokpi district. The initiative aims to improve learning facilities and promote quality education for orphan children and students from diverse communities.
The Army handed over essential educational and infrastructural items to the school, including eight computers, 20 benches, 20 desks, a sound system and four shamiyanas. These additions are expected to enhance classroom learning and create a more supportive academic environment.

A brief ceremony was held at the school, where the Principal formally received the items. This was followed by an interaction between Army personnel, staff and students over light refreshments, fostering a warm and positive exchange.
The Indian Army said the effort reflects its continued commitment to youth development, education and community welfare. The Spear Corps noted that access to proper learning tools plays a critical role in shaping young minds and building a better future.
The school authorities and students expressed deep gratitude for the assistance, stating that the support has further strengthened ties between the Indian Army and the local community.
