Imphal, March 27, 2025: The Indian Army has officially opened the online registration for Agniveer recruitment under the Agnipath Scheme for candidates from Nagaland and Manipur. Unmarried male candidates domiciled in any district of the two states are eligible to apply for the 2025-26 recruitment cycle.

The registration window is open from March 12 to April 10, 2025, and interested candidates must apply through the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. The recruitment process will be held in two phases.

Phase I involves an Online Computer-Based Common Entrance Examination (CEE) at selected centres in both states. Phase II will consist of a recruitment rally for candidates who qualify and appear in the merit list of the CEE. The Army Recruiting Office, Rangapahar, will release detailed rally advisories in due course.

To register, applicants must create a personal profile and pay an application fee of Rs 250/- plus bank charges via SBI portal using debit/credit cards, online banking, or UPI. Applicants must have a valid Aadhaar number linked to their mobile number, and an active email ID and phone number for communication purposes.

Candidates may choose up to two categories to apply for but will need to take separate CEEs for each. Educational qualifications, physical and medical standards, and job specifications are detailed on the recruitment website. The Army has also provided practice links, animated guidance videos, and helpline support to assist aspirants.

For assistance, candidates can contact the Army Recruiting Office at 03862-249012 or 7628023484, or email swarkokila@nic.in. Queries can also be submitted via the official recruitment website.
