KCP (MFL) Member Arrested in Imphal West for Extortion; Cash and Mobile Seized

Manipur Police apprehended an active member of the proscribed outfit Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) – MFL from Thongju Pechulampak Pukhri under Singjamei Police Station in Imphal West district according to Manipur Police statement.

The arrested individual has been identified as Samom Davidson Meitei alias Loya (32), who was allegedly involved in extorting money from shops in and around the Singjamei and Thongju areas.

During the operation, police recovered a mobile handset, a wallet containing ₹1,990 and a driving license, along with a two-wheeler from his possession.

Authorities have launched further investigations to track down other associates involved in the extortion racket. Security measures in the region remain tight to curb unlawful activities.
