Liquor Seized in Wangjing Area During Police Drive

A police team from the Women Police Station (WPS), Thoubal, led by SDPO Thoubal, conducted a liquor drive in Wangjing area at 6:30 PM on Saturday.

During the operation, one liquor seller, identified as Heikham Rajen Singh (44), son of H. Mangijao Singh of Wangjing Lamding Khumanthem Leikai, was found in possession of illegal liquor. Authorities seized nine bottles of Old Monk and 25 litres of DIC liquor from his vendor shop.

The accused, along with the confiscated liquor, was taken to the police station for further legal proceedings.
