Manipur Declares Results of National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Exam 2024-25 for Class VIII

Imphal, March 26, 2025 — The Directorate of Education (Schools), Government of Manipur, has officially declared the results of the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Examination (NMMSE) 2024–25 for Class VIII students of government and government-aided schools. The decision was made following a meeting of the Examination Committee held on March 26, 2025, at 10:30 a.m.

The scholarship examination was conducted on November 10, 2024, and aims to support meritorious students from economically weaker sections. However, as per existing norms, students from Kendriya Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, private schools (including Sainik Schools), and residential schools with boarding and lodging facilities run by state institutions are not eligible for the scheme.

The declaration was issued with the concurrence of the Ministry of Education, New Delhi, referencing letter F.No.1-11/2024-SS dated June 19, 2024.

Students and schools can access the results via the official website www.manipureducation.gov.in, the Directorate’s Notice Board, or the Science Unit of the Directorate of Education (S), Manipur.
