Prof. Chandbabu Singh W. Appointed as Vice-Chancellor of Dhanamanjuri University

The Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, in his capacity as Chancellor of Dhanamanjuri University, has appointed Prof. Chandbabu Singh W. as the new Vice-Chancellor of the university.

The appointment has been made under the powers conferred by Sub-Sections (1) and (4) of Section 14 of the Dhanamanjuri University Act, 2017. Prof. Chandbabu Singh W. will serve a term of five years from the date he assumes office or until he reaches the age of seventy, whichever comes earlier.

The official order was issued by the Governor’s Secretariat, Raj Bhavan, Imphal, and signed by the Governor on March 8, 2025.
