RPF/PLA Cadre Arrested with Heavy Weapons in Kakching

Security Forces have intensified intelligence-based combing, cordon and search operations across the state to curb extortion and criminal activities.

During one such operation on November 22, an active cadre of RPF/PLA was arrested at the Kakching Police Station Gate checkpoint. The arrested individual has been identified as Yumnam Tomba Singh (56) of Lamjao Mayai Leikai, Kakching district.

A large cache of weapons and ammunition was seized from his possession, including one 7.62 LMG, one .303 LMG, one SLR rifle, 583 rounds of assorted live ammunition, and a mobile phone.
