Imphal, March 28, 2025:

The Raj Bhavan in Imphal witnessed a vibrant cultural gathering as the Students’ Experience in Inter-State Living (SEIL) Experience Sharing Program was held under the banner of the National Integration Tour 2025. Organized by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the event aimed to celebrate unity in diversity and foster emotional integration among the youth of the nation.

The Hon’ble Governor of Manipur, Shri Ajay Kumar Bala Ji, graced the occasion as Chief Guest, alongside Shri Kamal Nayan Ji, ABVP North-East Zonal Organizing Secretary, and Guest of Honour Shri Deepak Ningombam, SEIL Manipur In-charge.

This year, 39 student delegates from Manipur traveled across various states of India from January 23 to February 13, 2025, as part of the SEIL initiative. The tour enabled students to immerse themselves in diverse cultures, traditions, and lifestyles, promoting the spirit of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.

During the program, Shri Deepak Ningombam emphasized SEIL’s role in strengthening national unity and mutual understanding between the North-East and the rest of India. Shri Kamal Nayan Ji shared how the tour was carefully designed to build cultural bridges and instill a sense of pride in India’s heritage.

Addressing the audience, Governor Shri Ajay Kumar Bala Ji praised ABVP’s initiative and encouraged students to continue exploring the nation’s diversity, calling such experiences vital for nurturing responsible and patriotic citizens.

The highlight of the event was the sharing of personal experiences by student delegates, who recounted how the tour broadened their horizons and helped break cultural stereotypes.

ABVP Manipur President Prof. Premlata Maisnam concluded the event with a heartfelt vote of thanks, emphasizing the importance of continued cultural exchange and youth engagement for a stronger, unified India.
