Three Active RPF/PLA Cadres Arrested in Imphal for Extortion Activities
Manipur Police arrested three active cadres of the RPF/PLA on 20 November 2025 from Keishampat Thouda Bhabok Leikai under Imphal Police Station, Imphal West district. The arrested individuals are:
- Maibam Vishal @ Thoithoiba (26) of Yaingangpokpi Awang Leikai, Imphal East
- Soyam Bungo Meitei (40) of Thamnapokpi Makha Leikai, Imphal East
- Nongthongbam Sanajaoba Singh (40) of Pukhao Naharup Makha Leikai, Imphal East
According to police, the trio had been involved in extorting money from the public.
The following items were seized from their possession:
- One .32 pistol loaded with six live rounds
- One mobile phone
- One Maruti 800 car
- Documents related to the RPF/PLA Finance Department
Police have registered a case and further investigation is underway.
