Two Active KCP (Noyon) Cadres Arrested for Extortion in Imphal

Manipur Police have arrested two active cadres of the Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP-Noyon) involved in extortion activities in the Imphal area. The arrests were made at Thangmeiband and Keishampat under Imphal Police Station, Imphal West District. The individuals have been identified as Kangjam Pradip Singh, alias Pari or Tenoi (38), and Thokchom Romeshchandra Singh, alias Ayangba (33).

According to the police, both individuals were directly involved in extorting money and serving monetary demands on behalf of the underground outfit. Acting on intelligence inputs, law enforcement officers apprehended them and seized several incriminating items from their possession, including three mobile phones, a side bag, two two-wheelers, and a voter ID card.
