Two KCP (PWG) Cadres Arrested with Arms in Thoubal

Manipur Police have arrested two cadres of the Kangleipak Communist Party – People’s War Group (KCP-PWG) involved in extortion activities. The accused, identified as Thokchom Lanchenba Singh, alias Mutum (22), and Md. Salim Khan, alias Md. Amir (32), were apprehended from Sangaiyumpham Nungphou Samaram Road under Thoubal Police Station, Thoubal District.

According to the police, both individuals were actively engaged in extortion operations in the region. During the arrest, law enforcement officials recovered a pistol with a magazine, five rounds of ammunition, three mobile phones, and a four-wheeler from their possession.
