Two Men Arrested with 31 kg of Marijuana at Airport

Two men were arrested on Saturday with 31 kg of marijuana by security officials at Bir Tikendrajit International Airport. The individuals were identified as Chongtham Rojit (34), son of Chongtham Mobimacha, originally from Singjamei Mathak Chongtham Leikai and currently residing at Tera Lukram Leirak, and Sarangthem Dingku Singh (25), son of the late Sarangthem Ingocha, from Kakching Khunou Thingnam Bokul Leikai. Singjamei Police Station has charged both individuals under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (NDPS Act).
