Popular Govt on the Horizon? BJP Manipur Convenes Tea Meeting with MLAs

Amid rising speculation over the possible formation of a popular government in Manipur, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Manipur Pradesh has called for a meeting of all its MLAs over tea. The meeting is scheduled to take place at Thambal Sanglen, Imphal, on June 29, 2025, at 5:00 PM.

The notice, signed by State BJP President A. Sharda Devi, urges all BJP MLAs to attend without fail, signaling a possible crucial development in the political landscape of the state.

The meeting comes at a time when political discussions have intensified regarding the formation of an elected government following the prolonged imposition of President’s Rule in the state.
