Tangpijol Village Charts Path to Development with Adoption of Vision 2030 under Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan
Tangpijol village in Singngat TD Block, Churachandpur District, marked a significant milestone today with the adoption of the Tribal Village Vision 2030 and Village Action Plans (VAPs) under the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan.
Supervised by Shri Samuel T. Lhungdim, SDO/BDO Singngat Sub-Division, the initiative aligns with the national framework of Viksit Bharat @2047, aiming to empower tribal communities through responsive governance and grassroots leadership.
As part of the Adi Sewa Parv, villagers actively participated alongside Adi Sathis and Adi Karmayogis in a transect walk, during which they collected local data, conducted participatory mapping, and visually represented existing infrastructure and future development needs through social and resource mapping exercises.

The community-adopted Village Action Plans propose several development measures, including installation of solar streetlights, drilling of bore wells for water supply, establishment of SHG offices, construction of Village Authority offices and a community hall, blacktopping of village roads with proper drainage systems, construction of public toilets, and a new school building.
The event was attended by Shri Rex Lengen, SDC, Singngat SDO Office, along with staff members, block Master Trainers, Adi Sathis, Adi Sahiyogis, and officials from key line departments such as PHED, Forest, Medical, ICDS-SW, Education, SHG (MSRLM), PWD, Agriculture, and CAF&PD. The village chief, Village Authority members, social workers, and Gram Sabha representatives also took part in the programme.
The rollout of the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan began yesterday in Muallum and Sumchinvum villages and will continue in Tonzang village tomorrow.
