Kuki Inpi Churachandpur Condemns Arson Attack on Tuibong SDO Office

The Kuki Inpi Churachandpur (KIC) has strongly condemned the act of arson that destroyed the Tuibong Sub-Divisional Office at Kholmun village on the night of November 10 around 9 pm.

In a statement issued by KIC Information Secretary Jamkhokai Doungel, the organisation termed the incident a “cowardly and senseless act” that resulted in the destruction of invaluable official documents and properties worth lakhs of rupees. It further stated that the attack had caused severe disruption to public administration and peace in the surrounding villages.

Calling the incident an assault on the collective interest of the people, KIC demanded that authorities conduct a swift and thorough investigation to identify and arrest those responsible.

The organisation also appealed to the public to maintain peace, respect public property, and refrain from any form of unlawful or destructive activities in the future.
