SECURITY FORCES RECOVER ARMS, AMMUNITION FROM NACHOU KHA MAMANG PATTON

Security Forces recovered a large quantity of arms, ammunition and protective equipment from Nachou Kha Mamang Patton area under Bishnupur Police Station on November 18, Tuesday.

According to a press note, the recovered items include one 9mm pistol with a magazine, two 9mm improvised pistols with two magazines, two SBBL guns, one improvised sniper rifle with sling, two No. 36 hand grenades, five 12-gauge live cartridges, four 9mm live rounds and five .303 live ammunition.

Security Forces also recovered three 2-inch mortar rounds, one Bushnell 3-9X40EG 6X telescopic sight with cover, three bullet-proof plates, two bullet-proof plate covers, two helmets, one tyre tube and one gunny sack.

The recovered items were handed over to the concerned police station for further necessary action.
