Imphal Cadet Creates History at Pariksha Pe Charcha

Cadet Memota Keisham, a Class X student of Sainik School Imphal, has brought pride to Manipur by interacting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the nationwide programme Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025.

The interaction, broadcast across the country on January 22, marked a historic moment as Memota became the only student from Manipur and the first female cadet from all Sainik Schools to interact with the Prime Minister. She was selected among 37 students from across India for her strong communication skills, creativity, critical thinking and confidence.

Hailing from Langthabal Khunou in Thoubal district, Memota is the eldest daughter of Keisham Debendra Singh and Maibam Tilotama Devi.

The Principal of Sainik School Imphal felicitated the cadet for her achievement, stating that her success is a source of inspiration for students of Sainik Schools and the youth of Manipur.
