Pension Adalat Held in Imphal to Address BSNL, DoT Pensioners’ Grievances

The Office of the Joint Controller of Communication Accounts (Jt. CCA), Department of Telecommunications, North East II Telecom Circle, organised a Pension Adalat at the BSNL Conference Hall, Imphal, on Tuesday to address grievances related to pensionary benefits of BSNL and Department of Telecommunications pensioners.

The initiative witnessed a good turnout of pensioners, reflecting their confidence in the institutional grievance redressal mechanism. Pension-related issues raised by the pensioners were taken up for examination and resolved through on-the-spot clarification and necessary action by departmental officers.

The Pension Adalat provided an effective platform for direct interaction between pensioners and officials, enabling timely resolution of routine pension-related matters. Pensioners expressed satisfaction over the redressal process and appreciated the efforts of the department and the Office of the Jt. CCA, NE II Circle, for ensuring transparent, responsive and pensioner-friendly service delivery.

The department reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding the interests of pensioners and strengthening grievance redressal mechanisms through regular outreach initiatives.
