55 Acres of Poppy Fields Destroyed in Ukhrul, Manipur

Manipur Police and the Forest Department conducted a poppy eradication operation on December 9 in the hill range of Sihai Khullen village, Ukhrul district. Approximately 55 acres of poppy plantations were destroyed, and five huts within the fields were burned down. An FIR has been registered, and efforts are underway to identify those involved in the illegal activity.
