Active RPF/PLA Cadre Arrested in Imphal

On December 8, 2024, Manipur Police apprehended Bungcha Thoudam alias Khamba (28), an active cadre of the RPF/PLA organization, from Imphal West. He was allegedly involved in extortion activities targeting spa centers in the Imphal area. Items recovered from his possession include a mobile handset, a wallet containing ₹1,920 and an Aadhaar card, and an unregistered car. Investigations are ongoing.
