AMMSO-GHQ Organises Blood Donation Camp in Memory of Former President Hanif Shah

The All Manipur Muslim Students’ Organisation (AMMSO-GHQ) today organised a Blood Donation Camp in connection with the 18th death anniversary of Marhoom Hanif Shah, former president of the organisation.

The event, held in association with Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS) and the State Blood Transfusion Council, Manipur, took place at the Blood Centre, JNIMS Imphal.

A large number of volunteers, including students and youth, participated in the camp to contribute to the cause of saving lives through blood donation. Certificates of appreciation were presented to the donors for their valuable participation.

Speaking on the occasion, Imtiyas Heibokmayum, President of AMMSO-GHQ, highlighted the importance of voluntary blood donation and called upon the youth to continue such humanitarian acts in memory of those who have served society selflessly.

Dr. Surjit Konsam, Senior Medical Officer, Blood Centre JNIMS, expressed gratitude to AMMSO-GHQ for their continued collaboration in organising such socially beneficial programmes, emphasizing that each unit of blood donated can save multiple lives.

The event carried the message: “Donate Blood, Save Lives, Spread Humanity.”
