Security Forces Seize Huge Quantity of Liquor, Cigarettes; Two Arrested in Tengnoupal
Security Forces arrested two individuals and seized a large quantity of liquor and cigarettes during an operation at T. Bungmol Junction under Moreh Police Station, Tengnoupal district.
The arrested persons have been identified as Thangjamang Haokip (26) of Yangoubung Village, Moreh, and Haumuanlal Zou (35) of Lhanghoi Village, Tengnoupal district.
During the operation, the following items were recovered from their possession:
- Two four-wheelers
- 6,140 full bottles of liquor of various brands
- 192 quarter bottles of liquor
- 145 half bottles of liquor of different brands
- Two cartons of cigarettes
The seized items and the arrested individuals have been handed over to the concerned authorities for further legal action.
