Manipur Hockey Officials Meet Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla, Propose Governor’s Trophy

A team led by Manipur Hockey CEO M. Premeshwor called on Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla at Raj Bhavan on Monday to discuss key issues related to the growth of hockey in the state.

Premeshwor, accompanied by four members of the association, briefed the Governor on ongoing initiatives and the challenges faced in strengthening the sport’s ecosystem. The team also proposed the introduction of a Governor’s Trophy, aimed at boosting participation and providing a prestigious platform to further promote hockey in Manipur.

The Governor acknowledged the efforts of Manipur Hockey and expressed interest in their proposal.
