Over 1500 Women Participate in 33rd Nupi Lan Memorial Run

The 33rd Nupi Lan Ningshing Lamjel, a commemorative run honoring the historic Nupi Lan (Women’s War), witnessed the participation of 1505 women today. The event, flagged off by MAHUD Minister Yumnam Khemchand, commenced at the Nupi Lal Complex and concluded at Singjamei.

Organized by the State Level Nupi Lal Ningshing Lamjel Organising Committee, the run pays tribute to the courageous women who fought for justice and equality during Manipur’s Nupi Lan movements. Women from diverse backgrounds participated in this event to celebrate the enduring legacy of these historic struggles.
