CM Khemchand Leads BJP Protest, Accuses Congress of Fueling Anarchy and Undermining Democracy
Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Wednesday joined BJP MLAs and senior party karyakartas in a sit-in protest at Thambal Shanglen, Nityapat Chuthek, accusing the Congress of attempting to sponsor anarchy and weaken the country’s democratic institutions.
In a statement shared on social media, the Chief Minister said democracy cannot be held hostage to political theatrics, manufactured chaos, or deliberate disruption. He alleged that efforts to spread disorder and misinformation were aimed at derailing the democratic process and asserted that those responsible would ultimately be held accountable by the people.

Reaffirming the BJP’s commitment to constitutional values, peace, stability, and responsible governance, Shri Khemchand Singh said the party would continue to oppose every attempt to incite unrest and create confusion.
