10 Held in Abdul Kadir Murder Case; Main Accused from Arambai Tenggol Apprehended

Key Accused in Abdul Kadir Murder Case Arrested; Total Arrests Rise to 10

In a major breakthrough, the main accused in the murder of Md Chesam Abdul Kadir of Paobitek Mayai Leikai has been arrested today. The accused, identified as Longjam Khaba Singh alias Boi (35), a commander of the Arambai Tenggol (AT), was apprehended from Mongsangei Makha Leikai, Arubam Leikai near Puthiba Laibung Complex in Imphal West.

Khaba Singh is alleged to be directly involved in the killing of Abdul Kadir, whose death sparked widespread condemnation and tension in Manipur.

With his arrest, the total number of individuals taken into custody in connection with the case has risen to ten. Among those arrested are seven members of Arambai Tenggol and three civilians, according to police sources.
