Waqf Board Manipur Invites Civil Society Organizations to Discuss Minority Girls’ Hostel Regulation

The Waqf Board Manipur has issued an official invitation to the presidents and secretaries of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) representing the Meitei Pangal community to attend a discussion regarding the regulation and management of the Minority (Meitei Pangal) Girls’ Hostel.

According to the notice issued by Mohd. Yasser Ahmed Khan, Chief Executive Officer of the Waqf Board, the meeting will be held on October 25, 2025, at 10:30 AM at the office premises of the Waqf Board located at Hafiz Hatta, JNIMS Road, Imphal East.

The meeting aims to frame and deliberate on issues, rules, and modalities related to the Minority (Meitei Pangal) Girls’ Hostel to ensure better management and welfare of students.

The Board has requested the kind presence of the concerned representatives from various CSOs to participate in the discussion.
