President Droupadi Murmu Interacts with Students from Manipur’s Berean Baptist Academy

The President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, on October 26, 2025, interacted with students from Berean Baptist Academy, Khumji, Noney District, Manipur, who were on a National Integration Tour organized by the 19th Assam Rifles.

The interaction offered the students a rare opportunity to engage with the Head of State and gain valuable inspiration from her journey and insights. President Murmu, known for her steadfast commitment to empowering marginalized communities and promoting education, encouraged the young participants to pursue knowledge and contribute positively to nation-building.

A highlight of the visit was the presentation of a traditional Inpui shawl to the President by the students, symbolizing respect and cultural exchange.

The National Integration Tour aims to broaden students’ perspectives, promote unity in diversity, and strengthen the bond between youth from remote regions and the rest of the country.
