Officials Dismantle Illegal Structure in Chingkheiching Reserve Forest

To curb encroachment, officials from the Sawombung Range Office, led by the Range Forest Officer (RFO), dismantled an illegal structure in the Chingkheiching Reserve Forest.

The operation was conducted under the jurisdiction of the Central Forest Division, Government of Manipur, reaffirming the government’s commitment to protecting the state’s natural resources.

Officials stated that preserving the Chingkheiching Reserve Forest is crucial for maintaining ecological balance, as it serves as a habitat for diverse flora and fauna. The government has reiterated its firm stance against unauthorized activities in protected forest areas.
