Noney DC Reviews Preparations Ahead of Governor’s Visit on October 18

In preparation for the upcoming visit of Governor of Manipur, Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla, to Noney district on October 18, Deputy Commissioner Shri Sharath Chandra Arroju chaired a District Level Officers (DLOs) meeting today at the DC Conference Hall, Noney District Headquarters.

During the meeting, the DC instructed all officers and staff to be fully prepared for the district-level review meeting with the Hon’ble Governor. He emphasized the need for coordinated efforts among all line departments to ensure a smooth and successful visit.

Departments including Agriculture, Horticulture, MSRLM, and Forest were assigned to set up departmental stalls at the DC complex to showcase the district’s achievements and ongoing initiatives. The DC also reviewed security arrangements, venue decorations, and other logistical requirements, assigning responsibilities to the concerned officers.

Shri Arroju informed that a PowerPoint presentation highlighting the district’s overall development and achievements across various departments will be presented during the Governor’s visit. He also directed the District Information Centre (DIC), Noney, to be prepared for all necessary technical support.

The Deputy Commissioner urged all DLOs to ensure their personal presence and readiness during the Hon’ble Governor’s review meeting and visit on October 18, underscoring the importance of teamwork and timely execution of preparations.
