National Unity March Held in Pherzawl to Mark Sardar Patel’s 150th Birth Anniversary

The District Administration of Pherzawl on Sunday observed the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel with a series of programmes celebrating his legacy as the architect of national integration.

Deputy Commissioner Smt. Mannuamching, IAS, flagged off the National Unity March at the district headquarters under the theme “Nasha Mukt Yuva” (Drug-Free Youth). The event began with participants taking a pledge to uphold the unity and integrity of the nation in honour of Patel’s vision of a united India.

Officials said the observance was organised in line with the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative and the national missions of Viksit Bharat and Atmanirbhar Bharat promoted by the Prime Minister.

Students, government officials, and members of civil society actively took part in the march, carrying the national flag and voicing their commitment to building a united, progressive, and drug-free India.
