Prof. Shanta Laishram to Deliver Academic Lectures in China and Hong Kong
Professor Shanta Laishram, a native of Khangabok, Manipur, and currently serving at the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), New Delhi, has been invited to deliver a series of academic lectures in China and Hong Kong this month.
He participated as a Speaker at the International Conference on “Diophantine Analysis and Related Topics” held at the Henan Academy of Sciences, Zhengzhou, from October 31 to November 4, 2025, where he delivered his talk today.
Prof. Laishram will also lecture at the Beijing International Centre for Mathematical Research (BICMR) and the Beijing Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Applications (BIMSA) from November 5 to 9, followed by a visit to the University of Hong Kong from November 9 to 13, 2025.
An eminent mathematician, Professor Shanta Laishram is widely recognized for his research in number theory and combinatorics, and his invitations reflect his growing international academic stature.
