AMPWA to Host State-Level Debate on Manipuri Muslim Representation for International Day of Education 2025
The All Manipur Muslims (Meitei-Pangals) Welfare Association (AMPWA) will organize a State Level Debating Competition on January 25, 2025, in observance of International Day of Education. The event will be held at the Waqf Board, Manipur Conference Hall, Hafiz Hatta, Imphal, starting at 10:00 AM.
The debate will focus on the motion,
“Marginalisation of political representation is the sole factor for backwardness of Manipuri Muslims.”
The competition will consist of seven structured rounds, including Opening, Rebuttal, Cross Fire, and Final Jury Rounds, with participants allowed a set duration in each round to present their arguments.
The competition is open to regular students from Class XI to postgraduate levels. The first and second prize winners will receive ₹10,000 and ₹6,000, respectively, along with certificates. The deadline for form submission is January 23, 2025, by 4:00 PM. A screening test, if necessary, will also be conducted on the same day at 10:00 AM to finalize participants.
