Security Forces Use Tear Gas in Kangpokpi to Disperse Highway Blockade  

Security forces in Kangpokpi fired multiple rounds of tear gas to disperse anti-free movement groups attempting to obstruct highway traffic. The situation escalated as members of Kuki groups gathered in large numbers to block the crucial route.

The highway is currently being secured by an Assam Rifles convoy, accompanied by a security escort and Manipur State Transport buses. With heavy security deployment in the area, tensions remain high.
