AMNEMEA Provides Financial Aid to Member for Medical Emergency

The All Manipur Newspaper & Electronic Media Employees Association (AMNEMEA) has extended financial assistance to one of its members, Pangambam Salky (SK), who recently underwent an emergency kidney stone operation on March 20.

Pangambam Salky, son of P. Birachandra from Yairipok Kekru Mathak Leikai, works as a DTP staff at Poknapham Press. In a gesture of solidarity, a team from AMNEMEA visited Salky and handed over the aid. The team was led by E Group member no. 97, Kshetrimayum Premchand, accompanied by Group C member no. 53 and Council President Haobijam Romio, along with Group C member no. 36 and 2nd Council Secretary Laishram Ambari.

This marks the 59th financial assistance initiative by AMNEMEA and the 4th for the year 2025.

Founded on May 20, 2018, AMNEMEA sustains such aid programs through monthly contributions of ₹20 collected from its members on the second Sunday of each month. The association encourages any member facing genuine financial hardship or medical emergencies to reach out for support.
